Weāll begin our day just like locals do, by hopping on the subway to reach one of the biggest markets in the city. Here, among localsā chatter, shopping, and vibrant colors, you'll get a real feel of local life. This is the place where Georgian farmers display their freshly picked products and offer them to the customers. Here, weāll meet these people and try their products, such as Churchkhela, a natural Georgian sweet made from grape juice and various nuts, fruits, and vegetables, as well as cheese and pickles, among many others.
From the market, weāll enjoy a pleasant walk to a charming, historic cafĆ© for refreshments, seasonal fruit lemonade. Then we begin our culinary adventure across several local restaurants. Tbilisi, as the capital of the country, is very diverse; here you can meet people from all around Georgia, therefore, this is the place where the cuisine from each region is represented. So weāll be using the opportunity to try the flavors of different regions, savoring Georgia's favorite dishes. They are full of flavor, shaped by different regions, and represent the roots of Georgian traditions and culture.
