Itinerary
At 8:45 AM, our team member will meet you with the “Authentic Georgia” sign at 4a, P. Ingorokva Street (350 meters away from Liberty Square). Tour departs at 9:00 AM.
Stop at the Jinvali Water Reservoir, created in the 1980s. Once a flourishing town, it was flooded to build the reservoir and dam. Now, turquoise waters hide underwater towns.
Continue to the 17th-century Ananuri Fortress, rich with panoramic views and legends. Home to one of the noble family’s residences, located on the military highway.
Head to Kazbegi for lunch with a local family. Learn how to make Khinkali, a traditional Georgian dumpling, and enjoy a homemade lunch with fresh, local ingredients.
After lunch, visit the Gergeti Trinity Church, one of the most popular tourist destinations. Use a 4-wheel drive to reach this iconic church, perched on a mountain summit. If you're lucky, catch a glimpse of Mount Kazbegi, one of the highest glaciers in the country.
Discover one of Georgia’s most breathtaking natural wonders — the Dariali Gorge, often called the “Gate of the Caucasus.” Carved by the Terek River, this majestic canyon marks the natural border between Georgia and Russia and has served as a strategic passage.
On the way back, stop at the Gudauri Viewpoint (Friendship Monument) for an evening view of the Greater Caucasus and a mosaic monument. Finally, return to Tbilisi with a full heart, a full stomach, and incredible memories.
Tour ends back at the meeting point.
